Born Again

What does the Bible say about the Believer's place in the Body of Christ? Do we fully appreciate and realize and have any concept of what is our full inheritance in Christ Jesus? Let's see what the Word of God has to say about it in Ephesians 1:3-14 (MSG).

Righteousness comes to us by taking Jesus Christ as Savior and confessing His Lordship over our lives. When we know that Jesus died for our sins according to Scripture, that on the third day He rose again from the dead after He had put our sin away and satisfied the claims of justice as our substitute; when we know that and take Him as our Savior and confess Him as our Lord, at that very moment we receive God's nature and we become the Righteousness of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21 "Him who knew no sin God made to become sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." This Righteousness it's the nature of the Father imparted to us. It is that nature gaining the ascendancy in us until we know that we are what God says we are, masters, conquerors, more than conquerors!

These are a few of the many things that Righteousness gives us as revealed in Christ's finished work.

Our Standing Is Restored

Righteousness comes to us in the New Creation (Born Again). It restores our standing before God. It takes away the old Sin-Consciousness that has crippled and robbed us of all our spiritual confidence and assurance in His presence. It restores to man a standing before the Father on the same ground that Jesus enjoyed in His earth walk. Jesus had no sense of inferiority in the presence of death. He had no sense of inferiority in the presence of disease. He was not afraid to speak to the maimed and command them to become whole.

Our Fellowship Is Restored

Righteousness restores to us our lost Fellowship with the Father. Jesus approached the Father with the same liberty and freedom as a child approaches his parent. The finished work of Christ guarantees us a restored fellowship with the Father. Jesus had no sense of lack of money. He had no sense of lack of love, lack of knowledge, or lack of ability.

Our Faith Is Restored

Righteousness restores to us our lost faith. Jesus believed in Himself, He believed in His mission, He believed in His Father. Righteousness restores quietness and rest to the spirit. We are no longer afraid of bills, no longer afraid of circumstances. Faith rises unconsciously and we face the most adverse conditions with a sense of confidence in God, we are masters in Christ Jesus.

Our Freedom Is Restored

The greatest freedom is freedom from sin consciousness. Freedom in Christ is to be free from the fear of Satan, freedom from the fear of man because we trust in God with all our hearts. We lean not upon our own understanding. We stand in the sweet, wonderful consciousness of "My Father is greater than all," and "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." Righteousness gives us the sweet consciousness of son-ship privileges.

God created man with free will to choose. We choose to follow Jesus and to find out His will for our lives. We said "YES" Lord to Your will and to Your plan. In other words, we are doing this by choice. By choice we are Christians, no-one forced us to be Christians.

It is God's will that you be Born Again, but you must make your own choice. Would you want to receive the forgiveness of God, the sacrifice of Jesus?  After all He paid for everything. When Jesus cried at the cross, "IT IS FINISHED." it was finished! "That whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." Receive the Love, receive your forgiveness. The very moment you receive Him in your heart something wonderful happens, I really don't think there is anyone that can explain it....why? Because it is a spiritual experience, "that which is born of the spirit is spirit; that which is born of the flesh is the flesh."

By accepting Christ as your Savior, God becomes your Heavenly Father. "Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called children of God,"

Affirm or Re-Affirm Your Faith:
I confess Jesus as Lord of my life, and I receive His Righteousness.
I receive His Forgiveness.
I receive Cleansing from all sin.
Depression, heaviness, confusion, leave me!

I refuse to receive you anymore!

Leave me now! Leave this place!

I take the Peace of God

I receive the mind of Christ.
